You don't even have to wait for any specific day to get going with your sketchbook practices - just jump in here with all the free gifts & videos we have for you. With many hours of footage available to interact with, why not make it fun to do & learn a micro skill with one of our sketchbook practices, a Skillshare class or downloadable resources like the ones further down in todays article!

My favourite time to create is early in the mornings. There's something special about being infused with the energetic pulse of the first rays of light!
You could say I count the hours until my journey continues as I'm always very excited to wake up early & begin a new day. It's like receiving a blank page I can create anything on!
Maybe reading today's blog article will paint a picture for you as we progress into more ways for you to feel super excited about sketchbooks, creativity & mindful practices. For the next couple of weeks I'm updating links & want to invite you to come along to explore what parts of our creative practices you resonate with.
You might like watercolour practices & to indulge in them you can visit the page "Watercolour Joy Playlist"
We also have two membership tiers, one is a monthly journey with us where you'll see exactly what we are creating in our sketchbooks & follow along with weekly videos, downloads & a beautiful (yet shy) community of friends just like you who are looking for peaceful creative practices that have no stress!
It's easy to procrastinating & make excuses while your life passes by. You could very easily decide today that you'll have a special day to create in your sketchbooks, another day to go out for a picnic & another day to learn a new skill.
For me that day is on a Friday. I reward myself with micro learning as I'm always on the lookout to improve my skills.
You might be like me & want to learn a little something new from time to time...

Want to learn how to use a dip pen & draw a variety of happy Sunflowers?
My approach to inking with a Dip Pen & Ink is a little 'un-traditional' simply because playfulness is one of the least used methods for using Dip Pen Inking.
In my Skillshare class I'll give you a pdf workbook that you can download & use as you learn alongside a couple of lessons.
We'll even embrace an accidental blob of ink & turn it into a flower.
Take the Dip Pen Inking Skillshare Class here: https://skl.sh/3S34QLo
Not on Skillshare yet? No worries, sign up with my complimentary 30 day free pass
Playing & experimenting in a workbook to add more practice time for the new found skills is my additional bonus especially for you. You can print out the workbook as many times as you need if you don't have a Sketchbook to work in. By practising on the printout, you'll have many opportunities to play with the ink & learn to draw Sunflowers along the way. You never have to mess up your Sketchbook pages with practice pieces until you are ready to do some Dip Pen Inking in there, unless you are like me & use your Sketchbooks for all your drawing & painting practices.
For more from me, enjoy our free Watercolour Joy Playlist & discover the therapeutic advantages of using watercolour practices, little sketchbooks & a variety of themed ideas to bring creativity, mindfulness & sketchbook practices to life for peace of mind.
If you liked the Dip Pen Inking Sunflower class, you'll love our Mindful Colouring Sessions to. For starters the drawings in that video playlist was also drawn with my Dip Pens, just like this gorgeous downloadable Rose drawing yo can colour in today!

We also have many other videos for you on our YouTube Channel!
Enjoy your mindful sketchbook practices & keep on creating with your relaxed flow state activated!
Much Love
