How A Garden of Love Letters Started
It's not easy to deal with personal loss especially when your favourite person cannot remember you
From the beginning it was my hope to bring moments of joy to you in the form of a letter
And now is the perfect time to share the delightful stories from my childhood as I lean into visits to my grandparents homes, hearts & gardens to discover who I was becoming
With the loss of my "Ouma" (Granny) Maggie came a time of great sorrow followed by tremendous joy as I poured my heart into "a Garden of Love Letters" - from it sprouted memories & illustrations that created joy
And now they will come to you as Joy's writing desk overflows with adorned illustrations, love letters rolled up in ephemera & stacks of mail in a basket ready for a walk to the post office so we can send out these delightful Garden Love Letters to you
