Joy, one of the hero characters in the Garden Love Letters share memories of Granny's garden in a new story every month.  The stories are told through the eyes of a little girl who loves her Granny, treasures freedom & loves all forms of creativity, just like all of us.

If you could see yourself loving flowers, walking on freshly cut lawn, and following a garden path as it meanders under the trees then you will be in love with the Garden Love Letters. Her story started when she knitted herself a Little toy Lamb - when she was only 11 years old, Joy needed to be strong for those around her & kept her Little Lamb to comfort herself whenever she visited Granny's house during the school holidays

Years after she outgrew her Little Lamb, she kept receiving letters from her Granny & eventually her Little Lamb became a creative practice people can share with their children. As you get to know Joy & her Granny you'll realize how beautiful a creative practice becomes when life gives you lemons.

Come catch butterflies with Joy,

& help feed the little bees whenever
you visit a garden you love

When is the cut-off date for new signups?
Our little garden gate will close at midnight on the 24th for our garden fairies to gather the final numbers & lovingly prepare for next month's letters to reach you with love

What is in each of the Garden Love Letters?
Each envelope contains a loving letter from Granny, an encouraging quote, a photo postcard, message, a handful of creative favourites, ephemera & a watercolour colouring sheet full of delightful collectables.

Is the Garden Love Letters for adults?
Oh yes my dear, it is for every adult who sometimes feels sick of being an adult! It's also for the little kid inside each of us & on days you are feeling generous, you can even share it with another adult.

Why would a grown woman like a Garden Love Letter in the mail?
Receiving a garden themed love letter in the mail is about making a little time for yourself in a small creative practice that helps you unwind. For just a moment you are allowed to forget about being grown up with adult responsibilities & take a few minutes for yourself - it's in these small moments you'll experience joy in having a treasure to hold.

"All the flowers are stuck in sketchbook. They are very colourful and match my tablecloth. Cannot wait for next month!
Have a good day, from Alice Carter."
"Joy sounds like my youngest daughter who enjoys playing outside. She's not bothered by the TV and I think that is a good thing. Hope its ok that she coloured in my page this month. Grateful for the tea break to read my special letter. Love always, Grace, from Victoria"
"Hi Tanya, it's Nettie. We used to live near the Orange River and I know the swans like to float along it. But I don't recall seeing any of these flowers growing in the region. Are they imaginary? Best wishes Nettie Reinecke"
